wes anderson’s movie the
royal tenenbaums. she was the ultimate cool, with an imperfect voice which many compared to the deep sound of a cello. after a quick stint as lead singer for the velvet underground, nico embarked on a solo career, collaborating with the likes of bob dylan and jackson browne. she starred in andy warhol films and influenced artists such as elliot smith, stevie nicks, patti smith, björk and morrissey.
