Kate added these words on Apr 13 10 at 10:13 pmhaha totally! i bet we all have some bad shoes with socks moments in the 80′s!

Sandy a la Mode added these words on Apr 14 10 at 12:56 amIt’s cute b/c of the pop of color… but I wouldn’t be able to get over the horrible sock tan haha!
NameThis Much added these words on Apr 14 10 at 11:20 amI think this look is great! I do it every once in a blue moon and I love the look. I think it’s great for fall, as the bottom two pictures illustrate. The trick is confidence ladies!
Jess added these words on Apr 15 10 at 10:24 amHmmm… I wore these in the 80s (sometimes two contrasting pairs at once, with the tops “rolled” down – what was I thinking?!)
I don’t know – I’m of the mind that if I’ve worn a decade-specific style already in my life, I probably shouldn’t join the party the 2nd time around.
I’ll leave it for the youngins, for now.
Audrey added these words on Apr 19 10 at 1:21 pmEverything looks good in a J-Crew catelogue, who are we kidding? They could dress those models up in dandelions and with the right makeup and lighting, we’d all be contemplating our abilities to pull it off.
Cerrissa added these words on May 03 10 at 2:02 pmI’m totally in love with this look and found a bunch of those j. crew socklets on sale and have been wearing them like crazy
it is also a help because i have wide feet and get major blisters with most shoes if i’m not wearing socks. these are thin enough that i can wear them with uncomfortable heels and get a pop of color
