Kate added these words on Apr 01 10 at 3:11 pmwe were lucky enough to inherit a big collection from a friend’s wedding, so that made this seem a little less daunting. we will see how i feel in a few months!
Jodi added these words on Apr 01 10 at 5:05 pmI am in LOVE with this. I love the collection of mismatched dishes. I’m a big fan of that, every time I go antique shopping…I find another dish of some sort and I think it makes a very unique collection. Your wedding will be so beautiful with these dishes. Thanks for sharing your treasures!
emma added these words on Apr 01 10 at 6:23 pmI think it’s a delightful idea. Anyone who thinks otherwise should be kindly uninvited to the reception – they clearly don’t appreciate your aesthetic.
cathie added these words on Apr 01 10 at 10:26 pmoh goodness, if you can pull that off, your wedding will be the talk of the town. what a gorgeous collection!

Rachel Wiles added these words on Apr 03 10 at 7:12 pmYou’re not crazy! I would have loved to have done this at my wedding. Time was not on my side. It’s going to look fantastic.
Naushin added these words on Apr 06 10 at 3:18 pmThis is going to look fabulous! Also, I just found your blog and I can’t get enough of it! Ah, I feel like I’ve missed so much! Good work.
Caroline added these words on Apr 17 10 at 12:39 pmI have always wanted to do that… and now you have an amazing set of mismatched china for the rest of your life. I’m not getting married yet, I’m in a terminally long term relationship with the man I WILL marry when we get enough money and time to do it (I’m a musician and he’s in law school… time is not on our side right now). Please teach me your ways! I have YEARS (and enough crazy in me) to build my collection but have no idea where to start!
Colleen added these words on Sep 06 10 at 5:32 pmWe’ve just finished our collection for our daughter’s wedding happening Sept 18th here in Maine. We’ve all agreed that we don’t really have a place to store 120 sets of mismatched china so it will be for sale. If anyone is interested please let us know. Best way to reach us is by email. sea-gal@comcast.net
dreamalittledreamwedding added these words on Jan 29 11 at 12:15 ami love this idea i am wedding obsessed and have been planning mine for quite some time now and this has always been one of my ideas i keep having people tell me i need to make each table a different set of china instead of each piece being different or it will be to busy but i love the idea of each piece being unique its my wedding anyway right besides its way easier to find singe pieces then whole sets at least at an affordable price
Kate Buckley added these words on Apr 16 11 at 2:48 pmMy wedding was last Sept and I put together a gorgeous collection of mismatched china for our reception that I now rent out! I just put up a facebook page so people can see the pictures of the plates, and of my wedding and how stunning it turned out.

When you click on each picture, it will tell you how many of that particular pattern I have available.
I still have more to put up next week once I get back into town and can take pictures of them.
