 + i keep coming back to images of these high waisted khakis. so hot on tall, skinny ladies. so steve urkel on me and my short torso. doesn’t she look great in them? i haven’t given up hope yet. just need to find the right pair.

+ it is no secret that i think j crew’s jewelry line is impeccable. i’m crossing my fingers that these will still be around when my new budget has a little more wiggle room.

+ i don’t need another pair of wayfarers, but like the shape of these sunglasses.

+ i don’t think i could ever have enough of these sheer tanks. my summer wardrobe staple.

This tank has a different back than usual and makes it special. Love the JCrew jewelry line. They have been adding lovely pieces to their collections lately.

Totally understand about the high-waisted khaki short crisis! I broke down and bought some, thinking maybe with 6inch heels they would look right…I ended up giving them to my best friend who is 5’9″ (I’m only 5’1″) and of course she looked amazing in them. But on a good note i found an amazing pair of high waisted khaki shorts at F21 if you can believe it! 100% linen, and they sit on the perfect spot on my waist, not by my boobs giving the Urkel effect you mentioned; and the best part, they were only $17.80 :) Happy short hunting!
