rain, rain.

listen up, mother nature.

i’ve had enough. the girl who loves those wickedly stormy days, is finally sick and tired of all of your bad behavior.

i hear the weekend is suppose to be bright and lovely, which would be grand, as you’ve managed to rain on 2 of the 3 weddings i’ve had this month. (which was utterly romantic, by the way). but still, we’d like to keep the umbrella at bay for this last one on saturday.

so instead of sulking, i’m taking today to think about all of the good this rain is doing me. my wellies are thankful to get some good use, and I am thankful for the excuse to stay in bed instead of going to the gym on saturday morning. and our new garden is happy to get just the right amount of sprinkle. we’re hoping you can bring us some bright green veggies to feast on and pretty pink blossoms to sniff.

now give us a break, will you?
