how rad are these?

I am obsessed with these painted antlers by Cassandra Smith. I just got a loose antler at Hunt & Gather and it may meet its destiny with gold paint this weekend.

Oh! Do it yourself … I like that idea.

Hunt & Gather seems like a really neat concept – I’d love to experience something like that

Oh I would love to make my own version of these! My brothers are hardcore hunters but won’t share their antler collection with me! Lame.

These are sooo rad!! I would put these as my table top centerpiece in a heartbeat!
OR they would look so cool as a jewelry hanger on the wall!
Great blog!

Genuinely,
Kelly

These are beautiful and would be a great project for adding a little autumn whimsy to any home!

I spotted an entire basket full of antlers for eight dollars a pair at a flea market this weekend- how nice it would be to do this myself! I’ve got quite a few projects on my mind already but I am loving this. Sometimes when I spot really awesome thrift finds that I myself don’t necessarily want or need I wish I had a twitter account to announce these finds and share them with other people! How helpful would that be for us scavengers?! Like, I see great mid century pieces all the time around where I live but I simply cannot have ten credenzas, owl collections, and dishes for fifty. I would just love some way to share with others.

love this idea! I just finished painitng some antlers white and mounting in distressed frames for a little elegant twist in my hubby’s man-cave, but I’ll definately have to try this now for some coffee table decor ♥ it!
